Enchanted to a Stone

when I awaken from this dream
of troubling the living stream

when wild lilies fill my crock
and molten fissures split my rock

I'll toss my cold heart like a stone
to find its riverbed alone

and hens and cocks once more shall dive
and in your arms I'll come, alive
